Summit is located in Union County, to the south of Montclair, West Orange, and SOMA. Bloomfield is just to the east of Montclair and Glen Ridge, and is experiencing rapid growth in part to due spillover in demand from its historically more affluent neighbors. Bloomfield shares expansive Brookdale Park with Montclair on its north end. With good schools and a varied housing stock, it is within easy commuting distance to Manhattan.
